Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Resynced brings back the pirate entry

A re-release of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has arrived — an entry still called the best in the series a decade later, despite being, formally, a spin-off of its own franchise.

Black Flag won precisely by dropping the pretence of being a game about assassins and becoming a game about a ship. The re-release is a chance to check whether that sense of freedom holds without the nostalgia discount.
